Chicago, Illinois (March 5, 2018) – A man and a woman were hospitalized following a hit-and-run collision early Monday in in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side, according to a news release from Chicago Police.

The incident happened at around 12:57 a.m. on 107th Street.

According to the police, a black Cadillac was driven southbound in the 10700 block of South Wentworth Avenue when the driver ran a red traffic light and hit a Hyundai Sonata driven westbound on 107th Street.

After the collision, the Cadillac reportedly struck a three-level residence causing minimal damage and then fled the scene.

The Hyundai had three occupants, a woman, a man and a 5-month-old baby, as per the report.

The man and woman sustained minor injuries and were both transported to Roseland Community Hospital for treatment.

No one else was injured in the crash.
