Chicago, Illinois (March 1, 2018) – A 66-year-old man was seriously injured after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver last week Sunday in the South Side Grand Crossing neighborhood, authorities said.
The incident took place at around 9:19 a.m. Sunday, February 18, in the 7500 block of South Kenwood.
Authorities said the man was walking or standing in the street when he was hit by a car.
The victim sustained serious injuries while the driver fled the scene, authorities said.
