Man Injured in Logan Square Crash on North Central Park Avenue
Logan Square, Illinois (January 27, 2018) – A 68-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run collision in Logan Square Saturday afternoon, Chicago police said.
The incident happened at around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, January 20, in the 2100-block of North Central Park Avenue.
According to the police report, the man was struck by a vehicle driven northbound which the fled the incident scene.
The victim suffered critical, life-threatening injuries, police said.
According to the report, the car sustained damage in the windshield and hood.
The identity of the vehicle was not clear, but police said a white or silver Nissan Versa possibly model year 2013-2017 with a Lyft sticker on the lower passenger side windshield was involved.
