Linn County, Missouri (February 28, 2018) – One person was hurt when two vehicles were involved in a collision on Tuesday morning in Linn County, according to state troopers.

The crash took place at around 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, on U.S. 36 at Missouri 139 in Meadville.

The driver of a 1993 Chevrolet 1500 failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the path of a 2013 GMC Terrain. The vehicles collided and the impact pushed both vehicles off the side of the roadway.

The driver of the GMC, Lorrinda R. Suddith, 55, of Chillicothe, was transported by Linn County Ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe with minor injuries.

The other driver, Derrick J. Dennis, 27, of Humphreys, was not hurt.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage.
