Lorelei Arnold injured in Jackson County wreck

On April 19th at approximately 7:55 am, Lorelei Arnold, 59, of Independence, MO, was injured following an accident that occurred on I 470. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Ms. Arnold’s vehicle was involved in the accident when she slowed down due to traffic congestion. A vehicle driven by Ellen Wilson, 59, of Independence, MO, overtook and struck the rear of Ms. Arnold’s vehicle. Both drivers were wearing their safety devices. Ms. Wilson did not seem to sustain any injuries while Ms. Arnold sustained serious injuries. She was taken via EMS to a nearby medical center to be treated for her injuries.
