Christian County, Missouri (January 18, 2018) – A man and a woman were hospitalized following a Wednesday afternoon crash between two vehicles in Christian County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, on White Rock Lane just west of Republic.

Troopers said a 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 traveling eastbound on U.S. 60 slid and drifted off the right side of the roadway, where it skidded into a 2011 Mack that was turning onto southbound White Rock Lane from U.S. 60.

The driver of the Sierra, Toby M. Bryan, 48, of Aurora, sustained moderate injuries. His passenger, Leesa G. Bryan, 61, also of Aurora, suffered serious injuries. They were both transported by Ems to Mercy Hospital.

The driver of the Mack, Larry A. Hamilton, 48, of Republic, was unhurt in the crash.

The Mack was driven from the scene with minor damage while the Sierra was towed with total damage.
