Camdenton Woman Lauren Rubi Killed and Another Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Route D
Camdenton, Missouri (December 19, 2017) – A 26-year-old woman died in a head-on collision on Route D in Camdenton Saturday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Patrol.
The two-vehicle crash happened at around 4:20 p.m. Saturday, December 16, on Route D, just north of Brush Arbor Road.
Troopers said Delilah Taylor, 42, of Kansas City, was driving a 2008 Ford Escape north on Route D when she crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2014 Chevy Equinox, driven by Lauren Rubi, 26, of Camdenton.
Rubi was rushed to Lake Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 5:56 p.m.
Taylor was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers said Taylor was charged with 2nd-degree murder, driving with a revoked license and wrong-way driving leading to a crash.
