On Thursday, August 2, five Branson, MO, residents–Larry, Natori, and Nicholas Homer, plus Venezia Abbey and Ethan Keller–were all injured in a multi-car accident on Fall Creek Road just outside of Branson in Taney County.
The accident began at approximately 10:40 PM when Ms. Venezia Abbey, 23, apparently failed to see the vehicle that was carrying the Homers and Mr. Keller. Ms. Venenzia then entered the path of that vehicle while attempting to execute a turn, causing a collision.
According to the official Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Larry Homer, 14, suffered minor injuries, with Natori Homer and Ethan Keller both suffering moderate injuries. Both Homer’s and Mr. Kelly were transported via EMS for further obersvation and treatment.
Nicholas Homer and Ms. Abbey both suffered injuries deemed “serious,” and had to be rushed to Cox South Hospital for life saving emergency medical intervention.
Investigators believe the late hour and low visibility may have played a role in the incident.
All parties were wearing their safety belts at the time of the incident.
