The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a comprehensive system of personal injury laws meant to protect persons who are injured through another’s negligent action. Here, though the driver might be found responsible for the accident, any compensation sought by the passenger could be lessened based on her own negligence.  The passenger, if she chooses to seek compensation, will be entitled to payment for any lost wages, damaged property, and any medical bills incurred as a direct result of the accident.
