Krista Shue and David Bell Hurt in Greene County Crash on Route N
Greene County, Missouri (March 2, 2018) – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Greene County, according to state troopers.
The wreck occurred at around 4:50 a.m. Thursday, March 1, on Route N just north of Republic.
Troopers said a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo was heading south on Route N when the driver, Krista C. Shue, 23, of Republic, swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2000 GMC pickup, driven by David R. Bell, 44, of Billings.
Shue was seriously hurt and was rushed to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
Bell was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Troopers said both drivers had their safety belts on at the time of the crash.
Both vehicles were totaled.
