Teenager Injured in Washington County Crash on Route E
Washington County, Missouri (January 15, 2018) – A 19-year-old woman was injured when her vehicle collided with another car on Thursday morning in Washington County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 8:40 a.m. Thursday, January 11, on Route E south of Crow Street.
Troopers said 19-year-old Kiela J. English of Potosi, was driving a 2002 Lincoln Ls northbound on Route E when she was obstructed by a parked vehicle and she swerved into the southbound side. The left front of her vehicle collided with the right front of a 2005 Chrysler T&C, being driven southbound by 68-year-old James A. Courtney also of Potosi.
English was the only one injured in the crash. She was treated for minor injuries at Washington County Memorial Hospital.
Troopers said all occupants of the two vehicles were wearing their seatbelts.
