St. Louis County, Missouri (February 3, 2018) – A Florissant man sustained serious injuries in a Friday evening car wreck at an intersection on Interstate 170 in St. Louis County, according to MSHP.

The rear-end crash occurred at I-170 and Scudder Avenue around 6:05 p.m. Friday, February 2.

State troopers said a 2004 BMW 3 Series driven by 30-year-old Karin E. Jorgenson of Florissant, was traveling northbound on I-170 when it rear-ended a 2012 Lexus RX350, driven by 69-year-old Kenneth Goodwin also of Florissant.

Goodwin was rushed to SSM Health Depaul Hospital by Christian Ems.

No other injuries were reported.
