Kelly McElroy Hospitalized after Scott Troy Road Two-Car Crash in O’Fallon
Kelly McElroy, 39, Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on Scott Troy Road in O’Fallon
O’Fallon, Missouri (December 21, 2017) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection on Scott Troy Road in O’Fallon Wednesday afternoon, according to St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred at around 12:25 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, at the intersection of Scott Troy Road and Hegeman Road.
Deputies said the driver of a 2013 Dodge Caravan, Judith Hatten, 74, of Collinsville, ran a red light at the intersection while traveling south on Scott Troy Road. The Dodge collided head-on with a 2015 Toyota Highlander, driven by Kelly McElroy, 39, of O’Fallon.
McElroy sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Hatten was cited for failure to yield to a right-of-way at an intersection.
