Kelby Sisco, Corey Williams and Two Others Injured in Rear-End Crash on Route U in Dade County

Dade County, Missouri (January 2, 2018) – Four people were taken to hospitals on Sunday afternoon after being involved in a two-vehicle crash in Dade County, according to MSHP.

The incident occurred at around 4:20 p.m. Sunday, December 31 on Route U, about four miles Southeast of Dadeville.

According to troopers, a 2012 Ford Mustang being driven by Corey L. Williams, 24, of Brookline Station, was traveling eastbound on Route U when he rear-ended a 2003 Ford Taurus being driven by Michael E. Mangan, 31, of Walnut Grove.

The impact caused both vehicles to drift off the side of the roadway, and the Taurus caught fire after overturning.

Williams sustained minor injuries and was transported by an ambulance to Cox South Hospital of Springfield. His passenger, Kelby W. Sisco, 22, of Brookline Station, was transported with moderate injuries to Mercy Hospital of Springfield.

Mangan suffered minor injuries and his passenger, Heather N. Mangan, 28, of Walnut Grove, sustained moderate injuries. They were both taken to Mercy Hospital of Springfield.

Both vehicles were totally damaged and were towed from the scene.
