Kasey Linton Injured in Newton County Vehicle Crash on Missouri 59
Newton County, Missouri (February 6, 2018) – A 23-year-old woman was injured in a Sunday night car collision in Newton County, MSHP reported.
The crash occurred on Missouri 59, approximately 4 miles south of Diamond at around 10:15 p.m. Sunday, February 4.
According to troopers, 24-year-old Rutilio Barrios Lopez of Neosho was driving a 2003 Nissan Altima southbound on MO-59 when he crashed into the rear of a 2017 Kia Forte, driven by 23-year-old Kasey L. Linton of Granby.
Linton had her seatbelt on and was transported to Freeman West where she was treated for minor injuries.
Lopez was wearing a safety belt and was not hurt.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
