Motorcyclist Killed Belvidere Crash at South Appleton Road and Daimler Drive
Belvidere, Illinois (February 28, 2018) – The Motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with another car early Tuesday morning in Belvidere has been identified as 29-year-old Justin C. Williams of Belvidere, according to Boone County Coroner’s office.
The fatal incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, at South Appleton Road and Daimler Drive.
According to an investigation, Williams was operating his motorcycle on South Appleton Road when a vehicle began making a left turn onto Daimler Drive and struck Williams.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle was injured and transported to a hospital for treatment.
The driver was reportedly cited for failure to yield.
