Justin Douglas Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver on U.S. 63 in Texas County

Texas County, Missouri (February 23, 2018) – A pedestrian was hurt when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday evening in Texas County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at around 8:25 p.m. Thursday, February 22, on U.S. 63, approximately 4 miles north of Houston.

Troopers said Justin L. Douglas, 41, of Licking, was walking along the side of the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle traveling northbound on U.S. 63. The driver then fled the scene.

Douglas was treated for minor injuries at Texas County Memorial Hospital Houston.
