Jose Solis-Luna ID’d as Victim of Fatal St. Louis Crash on Reavis Barracks Road
St. Louis County, Missouri (March 6, 2018) – The man who was killed in a chain-reaction crash in St. Louis Sunday night has been identified as 43-year-old Jose Solis-Luna of St. Louis, according to a news release from St. Louis County Police.
The fatal wreck happened at around 6 p.m. Sunday, March 4, on Reavis Barracks Road.
According to authorities, a westbound sedan rear-ended the second car west of Green Park Road. The second car reportedly drove into eastbound traffic, where it was T-boned by a third car driven by Solis-Luna.
Solis-Luna, of 3800 blocks of French Court, just south of Carondelet Park, was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries, police said.
The 48-year-old female driver of the car which was rear-ended was transported to a hospital in critical condition, and her 19-year-old female passenger was hospitalized in stable condition, police said.
The 19-year-old male driver of the first car was hospitalized as a result of the wreck, the report said.
The Reavis Barracks Road between Union Road and Green Park Road remained shut for several hours during an investigation, according to the report.
