Jon Patterson and Two oThers Hospitalized after Interstate 470 Vehicle Collision in Jackson County
Jon Patterson, Kristall Pruitt, and Marni Patterson Injured in Jackson Car Crash on I-470
Jackson County, Missouri (January 17, 2018) – Three people were sent to a hospital by a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday night in Jackson County, MSHP report said.
The accident t occurred on Interstate 470, just east of View High at around 9:13 p.m. Tuesday, January 17.
According to troopers, a 2005 Kia Sorrento was being driven eastbound on I-470 by 31-year-old Kristall L. Pruitt of Raytown when she rear-ended a 2002 Toyota, traveled off the right shoulder of the road and slammed into a tree.
Pruitt sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to CenterPoint Hospital. Her passenger, Jon M. Patterson, 47, of Blue Springs, suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, 46-year-old Marni F. Patterson of Blue Springs, was treated for minor injuries at St. Lukes East Hospital.
Troopers said the three victims had their seatbelts on at the time of the crash.
