Pettis County, Missouri (March 3, 2018) – According to a local news source, two Lincoln residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pettis County on Friday morning.

The crash occurred at about 7:08 a.m. March 2, on US 65 near Smasal Road

According to an MSHP report, a 2004 Pontiac driven by 35-year-old John D. Wilson pulled into the path of a 2014 Chevrolet driven by 25-year-old Kristin A. Kruep of Sedalia.

Kruep could not avoid a collision and struck the rear of the Pontiac.

Wilson sustained minor injuries while his passenger, 39-year-old Jamie L. Wilson sustained moderate injuries.

They were both taken PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Kruep was uninjured.

Both vehicles were totaled and were towed away from the scene.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
