John Dinneen, Judy Dinneen, and Four Others Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on US-36 at MO 129 Near Bucklin

Dublin, Missouri (December 20, 2017) –  Six people were injured Tuesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on US-36 in Linn County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash took place at about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. Dec. 19, on westbound US-36 at MO 129, about 1 mile south of Bucklin.

MSHP officials said a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Judy C. Dinneen, 72, of Bucklin, was struck by a 2004 Chevrolet Venture van, driven by Cheri R. Allen, 47, Of Brookfield. Authorities said the Chevy Malibu was driving southbound when the driver attempted to cross the westbound US-36 and pulled into the path of the Chevy Venture van. The van struck the Malibu on the driver’s side.

Judy and her passenger John F. Dinneen, 90, of Bucklin, sustained moderate injuries in the crash. Allen and his three passengers, Jesse D. Adams, 20, Racheal A. Adams, 24, and Joseph R. Salter, all from Brookfield, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

All six patients were transported by Linn Ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
