Vandalia, Illinois (January 18, 2018) – A Smithboro woman was taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday in Vandalia, Fayette County, according to a news release from Illinois State Police.

The state police stated that Jennifer K Ulmer, 43, of Smithboro, who was a passenger in Poole’s car was transported to Fayette County Hospital for medical attention.

The report said Sandifer was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision and for driving uninsured motor vehicle.
