Jennifer Huskey Hurt in Lafayette County Crash on Interstate 70
Lafayette County, Missouri (February 6, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized after crashing into the rear of a tractor-trailer on Monday afternoon near Concordia, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 2:53 p.m. Monday, February 5, on Interstate 70.
Troopers said Jennifer L. Huskey, 50, of Chaffee was driving a 2001 Pontiac eastbound on I-70 when she lost control and crashed into the back of a trailer pulled by a 2010 Kenworth Tractor.
The collision caused Huskey to travel off the right shoulder of the roadway.
Huskey sustained moderate injuries and was taken to I-70 Medical Center Sweet Springs. The driver of the tractor-trailer, Timothy S. Woodruff, 41, of Kansas City, was not injured.
Both drivers were reportedly wearing their seatbelts.
