Jason Cobb Injured in St. Charles County Car Crash on I-70

St. Charles County, Missouri (January 9, 2018) – A 16-year-old Wentzville resident suffered injuries in a car crash Monday morning in St. Charles County, according to the MSHP.

The collision occurred at about 9:47 a.m. Monday, January 8 on Interstate 70, East of Route K.

Troopers said Jason L. Cobb, 16, of Wentzville, was driving a 2001 Ford Ranger eastbound on I-70 when he attempted to change lanes and clipped a vehicle that was being towed eastbound.

The impact pushed Cobb’s vehicle off the right shoulder of the road and crashed into a utility pole.

Cobb sustained minor injuries and was transported to SSM HealthSt. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis.

Cobb’s vehicle was towed from the scene with total damage.

The vehicle that collided with Cobb left the scene, according to MSHP.
