Jaquita Archie Injured in 2-Vehicle Accident on I-64 in St. Louis

St. Louis County, Missouri (January 29, 2018) – A woman was injured in a crash between two cars on Saturday morning in St. Louis County, according to a report by the MSHP.

The incident happened at around 10:36 a.m. Saturday, January 27, on Interstate 64 at Ballas.

According to a preliminary investigation, Jaquita Archie, 28, of Hazelwood was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala westbound on I-64 when one of the front tires blew out, causing her to make an emergency stop.

A 2016 Mazda CX5 traveling behind Archie slammed into the rear of the Impala.

Archie was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with minor injuries.

Anna C. Mattera, 27, of St. Louis was the driver of the Mazda and was not injured.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene with extensive damage.
