Janice Scott, 67, Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on 215th Street in Cass County
Cass County, Missouri (January 13, 2018) – A woman was taken to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision Friday morning in Cass County.
The accident took place at around 10:55 a.m. Friday, January 12, on 215th Street at the intersection of Missouri State Highway 291.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol, Janice Scott, 67, of Marshall was operating a 2016 Nissan Versa east on 215th Street at the intersection of Missouri State Highway 291. While Scott was at a stop sign, she failed to yield to a southbound 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Perry Heckadon, 44, of Butler.
A report said Scott’s vehicle then struck Heckadon’s car.
The patrol said Scott suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s East Hospital for treatment while Heckadon was not injured.
Both the drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
