Janette Batts Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Missouri 210 in Jackson County
Jackson County, Missouri (February 3, 3018) – A 62-year-old Orrick woman was injured in an incident where her vehicle was struck from the back at an intersection in Jackson County on Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri State Patrol said the crash occurred at around 4:05 p.m. on Missouri 210, just west of MO-291.
Janette L. Batts, 62, of Orrick, was sitting in a 2016 Ford Focus facing east at a lights stop on MO-210 when she was rear-ended by a 2016 Dodge Ram, driven by Aaron R. Wimpfheimer, 45, of Grafton, North Dakota, according to troopers.
Batts was wearing her safety belt and was transported by Fort Osage to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
