Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 44 in Franklin County
Franklin County, Missouri (December 21, 2017) – According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle collision caused injuries Monday evening in Franklin County.
The crash took place shortly after 6:15 p.m. Monday, December 18 on Interstate 44, just before U.S. 50.
Police officers said that the crash involved three vehicles and at least one tractor-trailer in the eastbound lanes at mile marker 244.
The interstate was closed until around 10:30 p.m. when it was reopened.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
