Two Drivers Hospitalized after Crash Involving Three Vehicles on MO-364 in St. Charles County
Holly Adams and Amber Price Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on MO-364 in St. Charles County
St. Charles County, Missouri (January 19, 2018) – Two drivers were injured in a chain-reaction collision involving three vehicles on Thursday morning in St. Charles County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash took place on Missouri 364, west of Heritage Crossing at around 8:10 a.m. Thursday, January 18.
Troopers said a 2008 Mazda 3 was traveling eastbound on MO-364 in front of a 2007 Ford Fusion when the drivers slowed down and stopped for a traffic snarl.
A 2010 GMC Acadia was traveling behind the Ford Fusion and the driver, Amber L. Price, 36, of Foristell, failed to slow down and crashed into the rear of the Ford. The impact caused the Ford to strike the back of the Mazda.
The Acadia then hit the right side of the Mazda.
Price was wearing her seatbelt and suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford, Holly N. Adams, 27, of St. Louis, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained serious injuries in the crash.
The two were transported to SSM Health St. Joseph’s St. Charles.
The third driver was unhurt.
The three vehicles were towed from the scene with total damage.
