Hector Alberto, 18, Marilyn Baker, 74, Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on US 60 near Monett
Monett, Missouri (December 20, 2017) – Two people were injured on Monday evening in a vehicle crash on US Highway 60 in Lawrence County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:45 p.m. on Monday, December 18 on Highway 60, just east of Monett.
Troopers said a vehicle driven, by Hector Alberto, 18, of Monett, was stopped in traffic and waiting to turn left when it was rear-ended by a car driven by 78-year-old Gary D. Baker of Monett.
Alberto sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Mercury Hospital Aurora.
A passenger in Baker’s car, 74-year-old Marilyn Baker, was transported to Mercury Hospital Springfield with moderate injuries.
