On Wednesday, May 30, 5 Residents of Missouri were injured in a multi-car accident on Highway C one mile north of Doolittle in Phelps County. Hazel, Jeffrey, and Jason Doyen were injured, as were Dorothy and Leondrus Crawford, in the incident which began at approximately 3 pm. The accident occurred when the vehicle operated by Jason Doyen crossed the center line and struck the Crawfords’ vehicle head on. According to the state highway patrol crash report, all 5 had to be rushed to the Phelps County Regional Medical Center for further observation and treatment. None were killed.
