On Thursday, August 9, Gylian Moore and her unnamed child were both injured in a collision involving a big-rig.
The accident began at approximately 10 AM when a semi-truck operated by Derek Adams, 49, illegally passed a stop sign after exiting Interstate 57 and collided with the vehicle operated by Ms. Moore.
Authorities are investigating whether low visibility and inclement weather may have played a role in the accident.
