O’Fallon Man Gerald Schuette Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Cras on Flatwoods Road in O’Fallon
O’Fallon, Missouri (December 28, 2017) – Two people were injured, one seriously, Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in O’Fallon, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 on Flatwoods Road, about 0.1 miles west of South Jordan Road.
According to the MSHP, a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Krystle A. Buerck,30, of Old Monroe, was traveling southbound when it crossed over the center line and struck the front of a northbound 1995 GMC Sonoma, driven by Gerald J. Schuette, 61, of O’Fallon.
Schuette sustained serious injuries while Buerck had moderated injuries. Both patients were transported by St. Charles County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
