Two Hospitalized after Platte County Car Crash on Interstate 29
Frederic White and Masi Tillan Injured in Rear-End Crash on I-29 in Platte County
Platte County, Missouri (January 19, 2018) – Two men were hospitalized after a Friday morning car crash on Interstate 29 in Platte County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at around 10:29 a.m. on northbound I-29 at Mile Marker 8.8.
Troopers said Frederic L. White, 32, of Atchison, Kansas, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet northbound on I-29 when he was rear-ended by a 2008 Honda driven by Masi Tillan, 35, of St. Joseph.
White and Tillan were wearing their seatbelts and both sustained moderate injuries.
Tillan was taken to St. Lukes Barry Road Hospital.
White decided to seek own treatment.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
