Rockford, Illinois (March 2, 2018) – According to a local news source, five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Rockford on Wednesday evening.

The accident occurred at about 6:00 p.m. February 28, at Beltline Road and S. Main Street near Rockford Airport.

According to the authorities, a Chevy Malibu and a Toyota Camry were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles is reported to have failed to yield to a red light at the intersection and collided with the other.

Both cars sustained major front-end damages.

Five people suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Four of the victims were occupants of the Malibu.
