Female Pedestrian Killed in Hit-And-Run Collision on US 71 in Kansas City
Kansas City, Missouri (January 27, 2018) — A female pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver Friday night in Kansas City, according to a police report.
The accident took place at around 11:15 p.m. Friday, January 25, on U.S. 71 in Kansas City.
The police report stated that the woman was crossing the highway in a crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle
The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene while the driver fled the accident scene.
An investigation to locate the driver and the vehicle involved in this deadly crash remained underway.
