Feigh Jansen and Erick Jordan Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-64 in Jefferson County

Jefferson County, Illinois (February 15, 2018) – According to a local news source, at least two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Jefferson County on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. February 14, on Interstate 64 near milepost 72.5.

As per the report, 21-year-old Feigh I. Jansen was driving his Chevrolet on the roadway when his vehicle was rear-ended by a Volvo driven by a 48-year-old Norbert J. Sasek of Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Jansen and a passenger in the Chevy identified as Eric K. Jordan, 18, of Carlyle, were exiting their disabled vehicle when a Peterbilt truck operated by 35-year-old Adam C. McAfee crashed into their car.

A Jeep driven by Kenneth K. Leong, 31, of Blairsville, Georgia, was also involved in the collision.

Jansen and Jordan sustained minor injuries and were both taken to an area hospital for treatment.

No other person was injured.

An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is ongoing.
