Licking Woman Elizabeth Edmonds Struck and injured on Highway 137
Elizabeth Edmonds, 39, Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Highway 137 near Licking City Limits
Licking, Missouri (December 21, 2017) – A female pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle Thursday morning in Licking, Texas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
The crash took place at about 11:32 a.m. on the northbound side of Highway 137 near Licking City limits.
According to MSHP traffic incident log, Elizabeth Edmonds, 39, of Licking, MO, was walking southbound on Highway 137, when she stepped into the path of a northbound 2005 Hyundai Elantra driven by Angel M. Rodabaugh, 26, of Salem.
Elizabeth sustained moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to Phelps County Regional Hospital.
The Hyundai sustained minor damage in the crash.
No additional information was provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
