Saline County, Missouri (March 2, 2018) – An elderly woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Saline County on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 12:25 p.m. February 27, on U.S. Route 65 near 195th Road.

According to a report by the MSHP, 74-year-old Dorothy M. Caroll of Marshall was traveling northbound when she rear-ended a vehicle driven by Milton N. Wright, 54, of Marshall.

Wright had slowed down and was attempting to make a right turn at the intersection when the accident occurred.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Caroll sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital.

Wright was unhurt.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
