David Thompson, 25, Killed in 2-Car Crash at Baumgartner and Lemay Ferry Roads in St. Louis County

St. Louis, Missouri (January 15, 2018) – A man who was killed in a two-car crash in South St. Louis Sunday morning has been identified as David Thompson, 25, of Arborview Drive in Villa Ridge, according to a police report.

The deadly crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, January 14, at Baumgartner and Lemay Ferry roads in south St. Louis County.

According to St. Louis County Police, a preliminary investigation report indicated that a Jeep was driven through the intersection when it was struck by a northbound car driven on Lemay Ferry road by Thompson.

The driver of the Jeep suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment together with the Thompson who was declared deceased at the hospital shortly after arrival.

Each vehicle had one occupant, police said.
