David Goering, Gordon Williams and Pamela Williams Injured in Head-On Crash on MO-77 in Scott County

Scott County, Missouri (January 16, 2018) – Three people were hospitalized after a crash between two vehicles on Monday afternoon in Scott County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident took place at around 3:40 p.m. Monday, January 16, on Missouri 77 approximately seven miles north of Oran.

Troopers said David A. Goering, 26, of Jackson, was driving a 2001 Dodge 1500 southbound on Missouri 77 when he lost control, swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with a 2009 Lincoln MKX, driven by Pamela M. Williams, 57, of Chaffee.

Goering, Williams and her passenger, Gordon E. Williams, 34, of Chaffee, were all transported by an ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center with serious injuries.

Troopers said all the three victims were wearing their seatbelts.
