David Dostal injured in Franklin County motorcycle accident

On Monday, September 22, David Dostal, a 56-year old resident of Fenton, was injured in a motorcycle accident on MO-100, west of Osage Street in Franklin county.

The accident occurred at approximately 11 AM when Albert Kenter, 79, of Hillsboro, failed to yield as he was executing a turn causing the motorcycle Mr. Dostal was riding to collide with his vehicle. Mr. Dostal was forced to lay his bike down, which caused a motorcycle driven by Michael Pryor, 62, of High Ridge, to also become involved in the accident.

According to the official crash report Mr. Dostal suffered moderate injury and had to be taken to St. Clare Medical Center via the Franklin county ambulance service for life-saving medical intervention. Neither Mr. Kenter nor Mr. Pryor were harmed in the incident.

Unfortunately, both Mr. Dostal and Mr. Pryor’s motorcycles suffered significant damage  in the incident and had to be towed from the scene.

No criminal charges have been brought against either party.
