Daniel Dunham, Joseph Yeager Injured in Lincoln County 2-Car Crash on MO-47

Lincoln County, Missouri (February 26, 2018) – Two vehicles collided on Saturday afternoon in Lincoln County sending both drivers to a St. Louis hospital, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at around 2:05 p.m. Saturday, February 24, on Missouri 47 west of Bennington Drive.

Troopers said a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Joseph V. Yeager, 20, of Troy was traveling eastbound on MO-47 when it slid into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with a westbound 2008 Nissan Altima , driven by Daniel L. Dunham, 56, of Hawk Point.

Dunham and Yeager were both taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis with moderate injuries.

The Nissan sustained extensive damage while the Silverado was totaled. They were both towed from the scene by Brians Towing.
