Daisy Lawhon, 12, Injured in Bus-Car Crash on 1061st Road in Johnson County

Johnson County, Missouri (January 18, 2018) – A 12-year-old girl was taken to a hospital for minor injuries suffered in a crash in Johnson County Wednesday morning, according to Missouri State Patrol report.

The accident took place at around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, on 1061st Road in Johnson County.

The state patrol stated that Denelta K. Reynolds, 62, of Warrensburg pulled over a bus at Northwest 1061st Road, south of Northwest 375th Road. Reynolds then began pulling back when she struck a vehicle stopped behind her driven by Nathan K. Thompson, 23, of Kansas City, Kansas.

12-year-old Daisy Lawhon, of Centerview, a passenger in the bus, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by a private car.
