Craig Wood Hurt in Motorcycle-Vehicle Wreck on U.S. 67 in Wayne County

Wayne County, Missouri (February 27, 2018) – A Williamsville man was injured in a crash between a car and a motorcycle on Sunday night in Wayne County, according to MSHP.

The crash happened at around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, February 25, on U.S. 67 at County Road 221.

According to police, a 1995 Dodge Ram and a 1982 Honda Motorcycle Silverwing were both traveling southbound on U.S. 67 when the driver of the car failed to yield to the motorcycle.

The rider crashed into the car.

The rider, identified as Craig A. Wood, 41, of Williamsville, was hospitalized with moderate injuries at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

The driver of the car, Christian L. Nelson, 27, of Williamsville, was not injured.

The motorcycle was totaled.
