St. Charles County, Missouri (February 24, 2018) – One person was injured in a car wreck with two tractor-trailers in St. Charles County on Friday morning, the state troopers said.

The incident took place on westbound Interstate 70 west of Missouri 370 at around 7:00 a.m. Friday, February 23.

A 2014 Hyundai Sonata and a 2006 International tractor were both traveling westbound on Interstate 70 when the two made contact, and the impact caused the driver of the Hyundai to lose control.

The Hyundai skidded off the left shoulder of the roadway crashing into the concrete barrier. The vehicle then traveled back into the roadway and hit the trailer towed by a 2007 Kenworth tractor.

The driver of the Hyundai was identified as 21-year-old Connor M. Brueggemann of Ballwin. He was transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles with minor injuries.
