Collin Jones Seriously Hurt in 2-Vehicle Wreck on Miller Road in Jefferson County

Jefferson County, Missouri (February 11, 2018) – A Fenton teenager was injured in a crash involving two cars on Saturday afternoon in Jefferson County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The collision took place at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, February 10, on Miller Road near Oak Crest Drive.

Troopers reported that a 2003 Ford Taurus was being driven northbound on Miller Road by Collin B. Jones, 19, of Fenton, when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2014 GMC Terrain being driven southbound by Timothy W. Allen, 33, of Imperial.

Jones suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Allen had his safety belt on and was not injured.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
