Jasper County, Missouri (February 23, 2018) – A Neosho man sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening in Jasper County, according to a local news source.

The collision occurred at about 6:20 p.m. February 21, on U.S. Highway 59.

According to a statement by the authorities, 29-year-old Cody S. Bowman of Neosho was driving his car southbound when he collided with a northbound car driven by 39-year-old Chad A. Ganoung, of Eagle Rock.

Ganoung was attempting to turn left onto Route FF at Fidelity and crossed Bowman’s path leading to a collision.

Bowman sustained minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin.

No other information was released.

The incident is under investigation.
