Christa Arnold, Dustin Tracy, injured in Johnson Country motorcycle accident

At approximately 2 pm on April 28th, Christa Arnold and Dustin Tracy were injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred in Johnson County. The accident began when Mr. Tracy, who was travelling westbound on a motorcycle at the time, pulled close to the center line. A truck approaching east bound saw Mr. Tracy close in on the line and swerved so as to avoid striking him. Unfortunately the truck over corrected and struck the vehicle Ms. Arnold was travelling in, sending both parties off the road. Mr. Tracy also over corrected, and went off road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Ms. Arnold was severely injured and transported by helicopter to a local hospital. Mr. Tracy also suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Research Hospital by ambulance.

Traffic accidents can be both extremely inconvenient and also very traumatic experiences. We at the law offices of Kevin J. Roach wish all of the parties a speedy and thorough recovery.

The Legal Claims

Missouri offers a thorough and effective system of personal injury law meant to protect those who are hurt due to the negligent actions of others. Here, fault may be difficult to determine and degrees of fault may be assigned to different parties, nevertheless the injured parties may seek compensation for medical expenses, property damage, lost wages, and pain and suffering, from those who injured them and their insurers.
