Chaz Ayres, Michaela Brown and Otis Foster III Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on MO-141 in Jefferson County
Jefferson County, Missouri (January 31, 2018) – Three people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles early Monday night in Jefferson County, according to MSHP.
The incident was reported at 8:16 p.m. Monday, January 29, on Missouri Route 141 at Romaine Creek Road.
Troopers said a 1984 Chevrolet Caprice Classic was stopped facing east on Romaine Creek Road and getting ready to turn left onto northbound MO-141 when the driver of a 2004 Ford Freestar, traveling southbound on MO-141, failed to stop for a steady red light and collided with the left side of the Chevrolet.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Chaz L. Ayres, 19, of Arnold and his passenger, Michaela A. Brown, 16, of Fenton, were both transported with serious injuries to St. Anthony’s Medical Center.
Otis L. Foster III, 44, of House Springs, was the driver of the Ford and was treated for minor injuries at St. Anthony’s.
Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed by Miner’s Towing.
